This course is ideal for those seeking a career in the emergency services, ambulance services, the event medical sector or those who work in high risk workplaces (Close Protection, Maritime Security, or Executive Protection). FREC® is also recognised by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) for licensing purposes.

This two day Recognised Prior Learning course is available to those that already hold a valid Recognised Level 3 Pre Hospital Care regulated qualification such as Emergency Care for First Responders or hold other internal verifiable training such as RNLI Casualty Care. Certificates need to be submitted to us for approval by the Awarding Body.

This certificate is a further step up from the FREC Level 3. The Level 4 course is designed to further your understanding of anatomy and physiology, advance your level of clinical intervention and further prepare you to both assist a Paramedic and access the Level 5 Diploma in First Response Emergency and Urgent Care.

Level 4 Award in Immediate Life Support

Immediate Life Support Level 4 Award

This 1 day course is suitable for people who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide emergency care to patients requiring emergency and urgent care/treatment.

This qualification follows on from FREC 4 as a mandatory requirement and enables a continuous professional development opportunity to develop and maintain clinical knowledge and skills when responding and providing immediate life support to patients in cardiorespiratory arrest or experiencing life-threatening illness in the prehospital care environment in line with current practice.

Level 5 First Response Emergency and Urgent Care – FREUC 5

FREUC 5 Diploma

This course brings you a step closer to becoming a registered HCPC Paramedic. Learners will already hold the FREC Level 4 (or equivalent) to access the FREUC Level 5.

The qualification is split into guided learning, 20 days at our Simulation Facility and 750 Hours of Clinical Practice to be completed over two years.
