This qualification is supported by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and develops Learners’ basic awareness of health and safety in a construction environment.
It includes knowing the risks of working within a construction environment and the principles of risk assessment for improving health and safety at work, the importance of safe manual handling, the importance of working safely at height and the importance of working around equipment safely.
