What we provide at In Safe Hands
First Aid Training, Food Safety Training, Fire Safety Training, Health and Safety
Training, Manual Handling Training, Train the Trainer;
As a registered training centre for the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health
(CIEH) we can offer nationally accredited courses in all aspects of Health and Safety.
We are also an approved provider of First Aid training with the Health and Safety
Executive (HSE). This ensures that you are not only receiving a quality qualification
that is valid for three years, but your meeting your legal requirements as well.
We don’t have 3000 trainers nationwide like some of our competitors. We feel that
quality is much better than quantity, that said, we have up to 30 well placed training
professionals across the UK and Northern Ireland to meet your needs 7 days a week.
Our promise of quality to our customers is what brings every customer
back time after time. We owe this to a number of factors;
- We provide a service level that very few other companies seem to reach
student is supported with learning, quality resources are used on all of our courses
Each student gets the very best in books and learning materials including a number
of useful products for beyond the course
- Training can be arranged at short notice
without compromising quality
- Our training team are mentored and observed regardless
of their experience before they ever teach any of our clients
- Trainers are regularly
observed and provided with “to the minute” information to ensure In Safe Hands provides
the most up to date courses
- We care about what we teach, yes we are a business
but every member of our training team “practices what they preach” and very much
“walks the walk”
- We are very cost effective without compromising on resources, quality trainers and
the quality of our courses.
Health and safety in general within the UK gets very mixed press. This can largely
be due to businesses not understanding what they need to be doing or wondering “how
far do we go?”.
Over the last 5 years we have consulted for a number of high profile organizations
and companies. Our approach is very much a mentoring role, we are not an inspectorate
and will never pretend to be. Whilst we can help and provide advice, it does still
remain the business of your company to act on the information provided should you
We can help by conducting audits of existing policies and procedures, make recommendations
for updating and implementing new ideas and plans, support the risk assessment process,
train key members of staff to help provide onsite training to reduce training cost’s
and a great deal more.

Event Safety and Medical Cover;
Events are amazing, they do a great deal for our communities by people engaging
in fun, sporting and possibly fund raising activities. However being an event organizer
can be very stressful and the safety implication can be massive.
In Safe Hands over the last 5 years established us to be invaluable in assisting
with the health and safety implications of running an event.
We can help with all aspects from permissions, safety planning and providing medical
cover for your event.
In Safe Hands consultants have managed safety for a number of large national events
including the British Heart Foundations swim series.
“The safety at this year’s event is the best it has ever been, in the 15 years of
this event, this has been the least stressful and I actually got to enjoy my event”
